Hema Subramanian

                         (Co-Founder & CEO)

Hema Subramanian has spent over two decades in the life sciences industry and is currently the Global Head of Sales at BioFortis, an IQVIA company. She has previously held roles across technology, program management and business development and worked on projects in public health related to children and women. She is the mother of two teenage daughters and has always been passionate about creating economic opportunities for disadvantaged women and children. Hema loves traveling, going on long walks and bike rides and soaking up the sun at beaches.

Ram Ganesan

(Co-Founder & President)

Ram Ganesan has spent over 20 years in fintech where he has held roles across sales and business development, product management and technology, in North America and Asia-Pacific. He is passionate about financial literacy and helping people understand and manage their financial future. He has been supporting organizations focused on education and women upliftment for several years before deciding to setup Archis Foundation. He is an avid golfer and cyclist and loves being outdoors.

Kumaran Malarkkan

Kumaran has worked in the IT industry in various technical roles for over 25 years. Currently working at Amazon as a Cloud architect and helping large enterprises migrate and optimize cloud workloads. Lives in the Seattle metro area, he loves to hike the pacific northwest and spend time outdoors exploring national parks. Kumaran is passionate about support and education for economically underprivileged boys and girls. He believes that expanding education for children from low-income communities empowers them in a remarkable way. He loves to volunteer with habitat for humanity and believes in their mission to provide shelter to people.

Senthil Namasivayam

Senthil is a technology professional specifically focused on the life sciences industry with a multi-functional background. Senthil lives in New Jersey, USA with his wife and son. Senthil enjoys the outdoors, hiking, cooking and reading. Senthil is passionate about giving back to the community and is involved in multiple initiatives including his college alumni where he coached students for employment and setup a scholarship fund. He is a contributing member and Adviser for Shifting Orbits Foundation and is involved with other philanthropical initiatives in his hometown in Tamilnadu, India.

 

Veena Swaminathan

Veena has over 19 years of experience in the global pharmaceutical, management consulting and technology sectors. Veena is well-traveled and has lived in 6 countries over the past 10 years, giving her strong exposure to various cultures. Veena completed her MBA from INSEAD, France and her Bachelor of Engineering from NTU, Singapore. Veena stronly believes in giving back to society and has volunteered with Project Bhakthi (Singapore), INSEAD (Singapore/Hong Kong), WISE (Hong Kong) and mentored young professionals through Everwise. She is also the Head of the INSEAD Boston Chapter and leads the INSEAD Women-in-Business Boston Chapter.

Shekar Hariharan

(Founder – Shifting Orbits Foundation)

Shekar Hariharan comes with over 20 years of corporate technology career across global locations, post which he decided to plunge into the Social Cause of Education. He is a Teach for India Alumni (2017) and Founder/CEO of a non-profit Shifting Orbits Foundation. He has a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Pune University,India and post graduate diploma (EGMP) in management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India. Shekar is also an active Rotarian and part of several NGO and Industry forums including serving as Jury member for Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry. Shekar is an avid reader. He lives in Bangalore, India with his parents, spouse, two daughters, two violons and his Amazon Kindle.

Sriram Ayer

Sriram Ayer (description): Sriram is a writer, storyteller and social entrepreneur. He is the founder of NalandaWay. Named by the Outlook Business magazine as one of the top 50 social entrepreneurs in India, he has received numerous awards, including the World Bank’s Development Marketplace award, the“Architect of the future” by Waldzell Institute, Vienna, the Millennium Award by FICCI/USAID, and the “Friend of Singapore – Gotong Royong Award” by Singapore International Foundation which he received from the President of Singapore, Halimah Yacob. Sriram is an Ashoka Fellow, Member of the Delhi Government’s Education Reform Committee, Member of The Global Collective at UNESCO MGIEP, Member of the Sub-committee
for Education & Employment at CII and Member of the Advisory Committee of the Dakshinachitra Museum in Chennai.
